What is an Account Limit?

Trial accounts are given an account limit when they sign up on uAfrica. Upon signing up, you will receive an account limit of R150.00 (inclusive of VAT); which means that the system will allow you to ship until you have reached R150.00 and nothing more. This can be increased based on your payment history and number of shipments per month. The system will require you to make a payment (if a debit order or PayFast payment method is used) or bill you automatically (when a card payment method is used) as soon as you reach 80% of your shipping limit.  

PLEASE NOTE: On the first of every month, you will be invoiced for the previous month’s subscription fee, plus all shipping charges incurred. It is important to note that your upcoming monthly subscription fee will be added as a billing transaction on the first of the month and will only be invoiced at the end of your invoice cycle. 

How to increase your Account Limit

Your account limit can be increased on request. In order to do so, please email support@uafrica.com and state your current shipping limit, the shipping limit required, as well as your account name or number on uAfrica. Our accounts department will then follow the required procedure and confirm if the increased limit has been approved. Please allow for at least 24 hours to facilitate this approval.
