Virtual Shopify Meetup Series | 13 to 15 October 2020
Are you ready to take it to the next level? Are you ready to PowerUp?!
uAfrica has teamed up with Shopify once again in 2020 to bring you The PowerUp Series. The PowerUp Series is a series of Shopify Meetups geared towards getting South African merchants ready for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We want you to be ready and prepared for what has become the busiest season for eCommerce merchants all over the world. In this short series, we debate logistics, discuss marketing tactics, enhance your Google Ads and SEO skills, hear real-life stories from successful merchants and even have a very special guest appearance from Shopify.
The series will run over the course of three days, with two talks schedule per day.
The series will be completely online, ensuring that you can join us from the comfort and safety of your own home.
Attendees are limited to 100 per talk and will need to sign up for the talk on a first-come-first-serve. The attendees have the opportunity to interact with the speakers and gain extra insight into eCommerce, Black Friday and Cyber Monday strategies. They will also be entered into a lucky draw to win a year’s Gold plan subscription on uAfrica!
Registered attendees will receive the link to the meeting room one hour prior to the start of the event.
Attendees must register for each talk that they would like to participate in. It is important to note that registering for one talk does not automatically register you for all of the talks.
In this talk, uAfrica’s Business Manager, Anita Erasmus, goes Head2Head with Ewald Fernandes, General Manager at Tiger Logistics to debate: Should you outsource your logistics or keep it in-house? Here we look at outsourcing your logistics and supply chain solutions to a company like Tiger Logistics versus keeping and managing your order fulfillment processes in-house with software like uAfrica.com. Anita and Ewald will debate the pros and cons of each, while giving merchants the information to help them make an informed decision that best suits their business models.
