The uAfrica.com platform will be fully functional throughout the festive season. The couriers will, however, operate according to their own schedules (please see below).
uAfrica.com support will be closed from Wednesday, 25 December 2019 and will reopen again on Monday, 6 January 2020. Only important technical-related queries can be logged on support@uafrica.com. All courier-related queries need to be logged directly with the relevant courier. Also, please note that the uAfrica telephones will not be supported during this time period.
Please Note:
Even though the couriers will be operating throughout the festive season, there are higher volumes and limited staff, which makes it even more important to send parcels as soon as possible – especially if it needs to be delivered on or before Christmas Day.
We would advise the following:
OVERNIGHT
Overnight: Local and Main Centre areas only
Shipments to be booked before 10am on Thursday, 19 December, in order for parcels to be collected no later than the 19th. Delivery should then be on Monday, 23 December or Tuesday, 24 December.
Overnight: Regional Area
Shipments to be booked before 10am on Wednesday, 18 December, in order for parcels to be collected no later than 18 December. Delivery should then be on Monday, 23 December or Tuesday, 24 December.
ECONOMY
Economy: For all areas
Shipments to be booked before 10am on Friday, 13 December, in order for parcels to be collected no later than 13 December (Considering that Monday, 16 December is a Public Holiday, collection and deliveries will only proceed from Tuesday, 17 December. Collections with Economy on the 17th of December might be a bit risky if you’d like delivery to take place before Christmas). Delivery should then be on Monday, 23 December or Tuesday, 24 December.
